Dear speakers,
At the conference, you will have to use the pre-configured computers that are available in each lecture room. You need to make sure that you follow these guidelines:
Before leaving for the conference
- Check on the website (program) when and where your talk is scheduled.
- Prepare your presentation either as a Powerpoint or a PDF file. We have Windows computers available. Optimize your slides to 16:9 display.
- Bring your presentation on a USB stick. It will not be possible to use your own laptop.
- Check where the room of your talk is. The Campus map is available here. There are also links in the agenda.
- Check the time slot for your talk. These are mentioned in the program for your session.
- Doctoral Consortium:Instructions are sent out by the DC Chairs.
- Workshops: Instructions are provided by the respective Workshop Chairs.
- BPM Research Tracks: Each talk 20 min presentation plus 10 min discussion.
- Blockchain Forum: Each talk 10 min presentation plus 10 min discussion.
- Industry Forum: Each talk 10 min presentation plus 5 min discussion.
- BPM Forum: Each talk 10 min presentation plus 5 min discussion.
- CEE Forum: Each talk 10 min presentation plus 10 min discussion.
- Demos: Each demo will have a small stand equipped with a monitor and power supply. Bring your own laptop and a poster that you can put on the pin wall of your stand.
- BPM Forum and CEE Forum Posters: Each presenter will have a pin wall to put up their poster.
Before your session
- Bring your presentation on a USB stick. It will not be possible to use your own laptop.
- Be there no later than 20 minutes before your session starts. Meet the session chair at the speaker pult and copy your presentation file onto the available computer.
- Take a seat in the first row such that you have a short path to the speaker pult.
During your talk
- Mind the time of your talk. Session chairs are instructed to cut talks that run out of time. This is important for being fair to the other speakers.
After your talk
- If you are fine to share your slides, please make them publically available and tweet the link using the hashtag #BPM2019.
