International registrants should be particularly aware and careful about visa requirements and should plan travel well in advance. The visa regulations in Austria can be found on the website of the Federal Ministry Republic of Austria.
Holders of an EEA (EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway) or Swiss passport do not require a visa. Nationals from EU-countries as well as Switzerland and Liechtenstein may stay for an unlimited time.
Please visit the website of the Austrian Foreign Ministry for a list of countries whose nationals do NOT need a visa for Austria if their stay does not exceed 90 days.
Nationals of countries NOT listed above will need to obtain a visa to travel to Austria.
